Opinion about the story “Rip Van Winkle”

Opinion about The story “Rip Van Winkle”
from the poster Hantika’s Group

The story of 'Rip Van Winkle,' written by Washington Irving, can mean many things for different people. One person might read it and think about a particular lesson, while another person read it and came up with a completely different meaning and lesson. As story telling from version Hantika’ group in theirs poster was completed within 5 days. That is an interesting story to listened.
Hantika’s group told the story of "Rip Van Winkle" is a villager living in New York state near the Catskill Mountain, before and after revolutionary war 1775 -1783. They told the story that Rip had taken a nap for 20 years. Even though Rip wasn't aware of all the changes it. Rip escaped to the mountains to get away from his wife rule that wants him to do work. He met a group of dwarfs playing ninepins and accepted their offer of a drink of liquor and promptly fall asleep. When he woke up, 20 years later. After he went back to his town many things have changed, Rip discovered that there were some changes he liked. For example, he no longer has to answer his wife because she has died and doesn’t have the same responsibilities and burdens as before. However, there are also some changes that he doesn't like, like his dog getting older and his children growing up. Although Rip was upset because he missed a lot of important events.
The moral of this story that I got is don't to be a lazy person because the time was not waiting, the world will continue to move forward and change.
