Atmosphere Places of The Magic Shop


There are only a few scenes in this story, from everywhere to a different atmosphere. Here I will tell you about the atmosphere in some of these incidents in my opinion.

1. Regent Street

This is where the story starts, there is no interesting event and the situation is normal. In this street, this magic shop is located. Gip's Father was surprised that there is a shop like this in this place. This is indicated by the words of Gip's father,"I had not thought the place was there, to tell the truth--a modest-sized frontage in Regent Street, between the picture shop and the place where the chicks run about just out of patent incubators". In this place, the final part of the conflict is that the Gip's father is suddenly unconscious of being in that place. And in this place the story ends. At the end of the story, Gip's father feels restless because he hasn't had time to pay for the shopman who has given 4 parcels.

2. In the Magic Shop

In this place there are some interesting events, the atmosphere in here is a bit entertaining and tense. Beginning with scenes of magic tricks and several conflicts starting. Magic tricks, like shopman drew from his head a glass ball. And then make  Gip's father began afraid about the magic tricks. Difference with Hip who more and more interests about the magic tricks.

3. Showroom in the Magic Shop

This place is a part of Magic Shop. In this place, conflict escalated. Many magic tricks showed in here, and that are very strange and terrible. The atmosphere was tense and scary. And the climax of story in here, when the Gip disappeared from the big drum box after shopman did a magic trick. That's make Gip's father got confused, and then he asked shopman to tell where his son. But, shopman didn't tell him. Gip's father was angry and forced the shopman to tell him.

4. Gip's House

The atmosphere in this place is normal, there is no interesting event. But. Gip's father is always confused & worried about what happened, and after 6 months passed he believes that this is fine.

The Moral Values of RIP Van Winkle By : Washington Irving The moral values that I have seen from 'Rip Van Winkle story is that time goes on and things keep changing whether a person is there or not. In the story, Rip takes a 21 year nap, but time does not stop the world keeps changing. Even though Rip is not aware of all of the changes going on, its still happen. When he awakes, Rip finds that there are some changes that he likes. For example, when he was going to the place where there had been a school and asked the crowd that had gathered and somebody said that everything had changed and finally he found his daughter. There were also some changes he didn't like, such as his dog getting older and his children growing up although Rip Van Winkle had been upset because he missed many important events. So the moral of the story is time does not wait the world will keep moving forward and changing . These things will happen even if someone is not ready for them! Ot

The conflicts of Rip Van Winkle

            The conflicts of Rip Van Winkle    Rip van winkle is a short story by the American author, Washington Irving, first published in 1819. Rip Van has two children named Rip and Judith. Morning and night his wife always told him to take a job but he is a lazy, Rip Van never answered her that's makes her angrier. One day, Rip Van leaved his wife at the Catskill mountain with his lovely companion his dog. In the late afternoon, Rip sat on one of the mountains tree. For a long time, he watched the beautiful of Hudson river. When he goes down to the mountain, Rip met a funny looking man (a dwarf), the man has something on his back, a big barrel. He wants rip to carry the barrel.
