SLEEPING BEAUTY

                       
      In a faraway kingdom,there was an empire led by a king and queen. But they not lived happily because they didn't have a child.
One day,  the queen gave a birth to a beautiful little daughter,named Princess Aurora. All people in the kingdom was very happy. The king was making a big celebration for his daughter. The king invited all people in the kingdom, including all fairies that lives in the kingdom. There were 13 fairies in the kingdom, but the king only invited 12 fairies.
      When the celebration was running on, the 12 fairies invited by the king to surround Princess Aurora to gave a blessing. Suddenly, the 13th fairy who were not invited by the king come. She was very angry and not accept this humiliation. She not gaving blessing to Princess Aurora, but she even crused her. She said "When the baby was 16 years old,  she will be picked by a needle and fall sleep for a long time! " After saying that curse the 13th fairy left the palace with her broomstick. Everyone in the palace was shocked. The king and queen very scared. The king asked to the 12 fairies to crush the curse. " Don't worry,Princess Aurora will not die, but she just fall sleep for a long time. The curse will be crushed when the prince come and kiss the princess. " said the fairy. So the king ordered to get rid of all the beedles in the palace.
     Days passed, Princess Aurora grown into a beautiful princess. Everyone in the palace loved her.  At the age of 16, the princess entered a small room in her palace. She saw the old woman who was sewing. The princess asked to her " What are you doing? " "I'm sewing, come here and i will teach you to sewing. " replied the old woman.  The princess didn't know that the old woman is the evil fairy that dangerous. When the princess took the needle, her hand was pricked and fell a sleep.  When the princess asleep, all people in the kingdom fell asleep too. Then the fairy put her on a mattress.
      Years passed, Princess Aurora and all people in the kingdom had been asleep for hundreds years. Until the day,  came a prince from a distant land approached the kingdom.  He saw a beautiful princess asleep there.  And he approached Princess Aurora and kissed her. Then  Princess Aurora woke up from her sleep, as well as those that exist in the palace. Eventually they become loves and lived happily ever after.

SYAHRUL MUKAROM 183211051 b.24 My opinion about the story is short tittle and very simple, but difficult to understanding it. I don’t know about a reason of the author to give tittle “b24”. This is make the reader ask about it, and make the story very interesting. The reader must know that we can take many moral messages from the story. About the law, injustice, and the rich. The parcipants of the story are Thief as suspected, Lady Mannering as a murderer, lord mannering as victim, and judge.       About the thief, although he was thief  because he have one reason and direction to do it. To continue he life, he have not the work that time. He just thief not the other.      At the assembly the thief tell about the event step by step, one by one, but no one was listened and the judge not believed about explanation him, still to accused that murderer is him.      From the story we must know about injustice from the law. “blunt above,...

The Moral Values of RIP Van Winkle By : Washington Irving The moral values that I have seen from 'Rip Van Winkle story is that time goes on and things keep changing whether a person is there or not. In the story, Rip takes a 21 year nap, but time does not stop the world keeps changing. Even though Rip is not aware of all of the changes going on, its still happen. When he awakes, Rip finds that there are some changes that he likes. For example, when he was going to the place where there had been a school and asked the crowd that had gathered and somebody said that everything had changed and finally he found his daughter. There were also some changes he didn't like, such as his dog getting older and his children growing up although Rip Van Winkle had been upset because he missed many important events.
